South Carolina Beach // Alice's 21 Birthday Vacation - Part 2

Hey y'all!  Here is the continuation of our vacation pictures from last post.

My husband gave me a real dream come true birthday!  To go to the beach!!!

And.......here are the pictures:

Gavin LOVED his first visit to the ocean! :-)

Gavin had just discovered his tongue.

All worn out from his fun at the beach.

The next morning, we woke up early

and went to the beach to watch the sunrise!

It was so pretty with nobody around and the only

sounds were of the waves crashing on the shore and the

distant sounds of some seagulls nearby.

The rest of the day was spent seeing some of the local sites

around Sullivan Island, including a visit to Fort Moultrie.

This is where a cannon ball hit.

We also got to drive through and see historic Charleston.

Our vacation finally ended with the most gorgeous sunset ever!

I couldn't have asked for a better birthday than getting

to have a wonderful vacation with my amazing husband and precious son.

Stone Mt. GA // Alice's 21st Birthday Vacation - Part 1

Hey y'all!  My 21st birthday was back in July, so this post is kinda late, but here it is
anyways. :-)  We enjoyed a much needed vacation for the weekend of my birthday, which started by visiting Stone Mountain in Georgia.  So here a BUNCH of pictures:

The hike to the top was long and pretty steep, but the view from

the top was AMAZING and sooooo worth the climb!

We enjoyed watching the laser show that night and the

sunset across the monument was very beautiful.

Gavin loved riding the train!

And he also got to "drive" the "duck" which is an old army

vehicle that drives on land, then into the water and becomes a boat.

One of my very favorite parts of the trip, was getting to

visit the old houses and plantations on the park grounds.

Everything was so beautiful!

The second part of our vacation was spent at the beach in South Carolina!
