Blackberry Lemonade Recipe

Blackberry Lemonade

4 cups water
3/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup honey
Not quite 1 cup fresh
squeezed lemon juice
1 cup blackberries

First in a saucepan bring 2 cups of
water to boil.  As soon as it boils add
sugar and honey.  Then remove from
heat and add lemon juice.
In a blender add the lemon juice mixture, blackberries, and
remaining 2 cups water.
Blend until even.  Pour through strainer
or cheesecloth and chill.
Serve cold with ice.

You can adjust measurements to
your own desire of sour and sweet
tastes. These were a pretty good
guestimate of what I used.
(I apologize for the poor quality of
the picture).

It's was so fun to make a drink
using the blackberries that
we picked and the honey that
came from our beehives!

This is an awsome recipe for these
hot and sticky July days and a great
way to use those wild blackberries
this summer. I hope ya'll try it. :)
